Adam Lane of BSR introduced the challenges China faces in social development. His fascinating depiction of China’s problems put numbers and statistics to the country’s often-mentioned malaises including poverty gaps, access to clean water and health. The underlying message is alarming – something needs to be done, now, before these issues become unmanageable.
