HuiLing goes ‘Around the World’ and visits Brazil

Continuing our trip around the world with HuiLing, and our stops in Australia and France, we celebrated Brazilian Carnival with the Huiling School for the mentally disabled as the latest installment of Rotaract’s ‘Around the World’ project on March 3rd 2010. In addition to learning some fun facts about Brazil, the trainees at HuiLing also made Carnival masks, Brazilian lemonade and learned how to move to the beat of Carnival. Fun times were had and beautiful masks were made.

Huiling was born as a simple shelter for mentally disabled persons. Now it includes various types of service and accepts people with mental disabilities of any age and social condition. Find out more about HuiLing on their website here.
