April 12th 2010, Rotaract presents: How to take better photos on a budget

Rotaract was treated to a thoroughly interesting class in 101 Aesthetics & Photography by Dominic de Luca and Lance Lee of the Beijing Center of Photography.

Lance compressed years of experience into an hour’s talk, providing a comprehensive yet succinct lesson in the underlying concepts of what makes a good photograph. The fact that members of the audience were studiously taking notes shows how valuable Lance’s gems of wisdom were.

Dominic supplemented the talk with a brief discussion on model photography, and how professional-looking photos can be created using relatively simple tools (and a hot, willing boyfriend / girlfriend!).
