Clothing Drive 2011

Rotaract Beijing is holding its second annual clothing drive.
Hand in your gently-used/nearly-new clothes to any of our collection points anytime between January 10th and 30th.
And the charity Roundabout will distribute them to worthy causes throughout China.

We only accept:
gently used clothes, coats, quilts, shoes, toys and books.
Please ensure your donations are clean and in good condition.


新年伊始，你是否和我一样有很多半旧不新的衣物要压箱底了，你是否也为拥有太多衣物占满衣

柜而头疼，你有太多不想穿的衣物还是很好的质地，怎么舍得丢弃呢？既然这样，那就物尽其用吧，清理出来送给有需要的人们!

那儿的物质贫乏，那儿的大人小孩衣不防寒，寒风吹来，他们瑟瑟发抖，发出寒号鸟一般的哀

鸣，可是他们的收入那么低微，只能先饱腹，拿什么钱来增添衣物呢？

    Hi There,

    For the dates, between 10th until 30th of January. And You can drop the donations any time during the collection point’s working hour (which is vary for each collection point)

    Fantastic initiative on this drive! Just dropped some clothes off at The Familier Centre and feel so good that these clothes will be able to help the poor and be put to good use. I applaud this drive. Indeed a good way to start the new year.

    For the location, You can check it on the map above or You can just click the logo of each collection point (will directing You to the collection point’s website and then You can find their address). You can go to the collection point on their working hours.

    - BCIS (Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm)
    - Tim’s Texas BBQ (11am-12pm)
    - Stadium Dog (Sun-Thu, 2pm-2am. weekends, 2pm-4am)
    - Hutong School (9am-6pm)
    - Frank’s Place (24 hours)
    - Grinders (Tue-Sun, 10am-2am)
    - The Familier (9am-8pm)
    - Paddy O’Shea’s (11am-2am)
    - Nearby The Tree (10am-10pm)

    Thanks to everybody who donated.

    We have collected over 6 jinbei vans worth of clothes (way more than in the pictures).

    Please talk to Kevin about volunteering for the sorting (a fun day out for all), at BCIS the weekend of the 19th and 20th February.

    If you haven’t donated yet, this will be the final chance until next year. So bring along some clothes!
