Food Collection 2011 Pictures and More!

Rotaract Beijing’s second annual food collection partnership with Carrefour Beijing paid big dividends for Shunyi-based Guang’Ai orphanage on November 27th! Rotaract volunteers at the Wangjing, Shuangjing and Zhongguancun Carrefours filled up vans loaded with non-perishable food items from generous shoppers. The food will help feed the over 100 orphans at Guang’Ai for the winter and enable the orphanage to spend their resources elsewhere on developing the children.

Zhongguancun data: 18 volunteers and 261 bags of rice and flour, jugs of oil etc. collected.

Wangjing: 10 volunteers brought in 176 donated food items.
