Taking the formula from the soup kitchen project in Wudaokou, Rotaract members will be setting up their own soup kitchen in the sanlitun area.
The soup kitchen will be small, hidden away and offer a hearty soup to any who need it.
We will be making the soup in a nearby kitchen, bring it to our chosen spot, serving, and finally returning to the kitchen to clean up. The whole operation should take no more than an hour and a half. The time looks like it will be 6:00pm-7:30pm Monday Wednesday Friday (to start off with, 5 days a week eventually).
If you’re planning to be in Beijing for a while, then this will be a great opportunity to find other long-termers.
